Carrot Cake 紅蘿蔔蛋糕

How to make it:


2 eggs 蛋

5/8 cups vegetable oil 植物油

1 cups white sugar 糖

1 cups all-purpose flour 中筋麵粉

2 teaspoons baking powder 泡打粉

1/2 teaspoon salt 鹽

1 teaspoons ground cinnamon 肉桂粉

1 1/2 cups grated carrots 切絲紅蘿蔔

Frosting 糖霜

1/4 cup butter, softened 牛油

4 ounces cream cheese, softened 奶油乳酪

1 cups sugar 糖


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a cake pan.


In a large bowl, beat together eggs, oil, white sugar. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in carrots. Pour into prepared pan.


Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.


To Make Frosting: In a medium bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, sugar. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Frost the cake.
